2016-07-09 11:30: Wikinger uf de Limmat + BBQ
As the Vikings we are, we will embark on an epic journey on the (not so) fierce Limmat! We start at Unterer Letten and float all the way down to Dietikon with a short stop at Werdinsel. In Dietikon we let our boats dry and then take the train back to Zürich HB. We then meet up in the evening with BBQ on the lawn outside the club house (the terrace is off limits) with bathing and sauna.
Only swimmers can participate in the river fun (goes for both kids and adults).
Time & Place: We meet up at the terrace at my place, Landenbergstrasse 16a, (Look for the Swedish flag) at 11:30. We get the boats ready and go over some information regarding the journey before invading Limmat.
How: With rubber dinghies (or anything inflatable that keeps you afloat). Please let me know if you can make it and if you will bring a boat/floating device or not. That way we know that everyone can tag along.
