Pictures from the Summer games triathlon 1.8.2001

Background: The Nordiska triathlon consists of the three parts running, rowing and swimming. Every distance is quite short, and is situated around our club, so that the spectators always can follow the race. It is a cup system with four people in every series, and number one and two continue to the next round. The rowing boats used are beginners boats, which are stable so that even less experienced rowers can take part.

From the start of the running part.

More running...

After the running comes the rowing.

Getting into the boats is not always that easy... :-)

And the rowin itself can also be tricky when you are in a hurry...

And not always are the "traffic rules" quite clear...

But we also have to offer something for the spectators!

Bjørn, Anne-Lise and Harald.

Last bit - swimming!

From the victory seremony.
