40 years ago these guys won the swiss championship on Rotsee, Luzern. This year they arranged a reuinon here at Nordiska to celebrate and remember their friendship and rowing victory.

Since the boat in which they won still lives at Nordiska it was packed and rigged onto the boat-trailer and car nicely lent out by Stämplfi Bootsbau. Here's a picture of the crew.

After an hours drive to Luzern and 1 hour trying to find the rowing arena, we finally arrived at Rotsee.

The boat was unloaded at put at see.
 
 

The crew were placed exactly like 40 years ago.

We rowed to the starting grid and started to race down the lake.

The race is on and the boat went fast and smoothly down the track.

After the race the boat was taken out of the water and loaded onto the boat trailer again.  We then went for a dinner in Luzern and returned to Nordiska and unloaded the boat again.
